Passionate about cogs and calibers from an early age, Hugo shaped Maison du Temps as amodern alternative to traditional watchmaking houses. Its objective: to offer automatic watches combiningtechnical reliability, assertive aesthetics and controlled accessibility, without compromise.

Our collections are inspired bycontemporary urban elegance, of thebrutalist architecture, andindustrial design, to create pieces that are both raw and refined.

All our watches aredesigned and prototyped in France, with the desire to create durable timepieces,strong but accessible identity.

We rigorously select each component, favoring robust materials (316L steel, sapphire glass, high-density silicone) and recognized mechanisms (Miyota, Seagull).

Each watch isprepared by hand in our workshop in La Rochelle, with particular care given to packaging, presentation, and quality control.

Miyota is a subsidiary of the Citizen group, one of the world leaders in watchmaking.

The caliber8N24, used in many of our skeleton models, is famous for itssmooth automatic winding, itsmechanical robustness, and itspower reserve of approximately 42 hours.

The power reserve corresponds to thetime the watch continues to run without being worn, once completely reassembled.

This is a crucial indicator of comfort of use: the longer it is, the more you can remove your watch without risking it stopping.

At the house ofHouse of Time, our models offer a power reserve of40 to 42 hours, perfectly suited to daily use.

Please note: if you do not wear your watch for more than two days, simply wind it manually via the crown to restart the mechanism.

All automatic watches, even the best, experience a slight drift (generally by+/- 15 to 25 seconds per day).

What matters is theregularityof this drift and thestability of movement over time.

Each movement isadjusted, tested and controlledin our workshop before shipment.

A good movement is a silent mechanism, smooth in rotation, whose second hand “glides” continuously.

Before any shipment, each watch is subject to acomplete technical inspection :
